Checked it out on Fresh Air last night and learned this crazy fact about how much we waste: The amount of plastic in the ocean (in pieces small enough to enter the food chain) is equivalent to the weight of 40 aircraft carriers.

US legislators need to be as passionate, I feel. Violence is not the answer, but it sure shows that the politicians of South Korea are for real, rather than some of the 1 percenters sitting fat in congress in the US.
